A Choir of Forgetfulness

Author's note: This post is actually from the 7th or 8th, but silly me never got around to postin' it. So, here is an out-of-date news update.

Why? I donno. Just cool patterns. I call it "Forgotten/Abandoned Project", or some variation thereof. Taken with the non-mine camera of my dreams.

I am not a demonstrative person and I seldom raise my hand or come out of my shell, but I love it when God comes and drags me free of my habitual shyness and allows me, makes me, raise my hand and cry with joy, to praise him with songs and uplifted voice.

I am emotionally and physically exhausted, but I wanted to sing that go back a hundred times and more. And the entire gathering felt the same way. Choir did lousy but God did wonderful!

The trip was longish but survivable. Since I slept most of the time. Except when I was submitted to the conversations of nineteen to twenty year olds. Spare me the affectations of childhood! Alas, was I ever so young as thee? Hopefully not. : D

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was this song that was a personal and family favourite, by the Booth brothers. Don't remember the name, can't remember the lyrics. I know it was with the father, I know it was on channel 52, Mom had it recorded. Really early in their career. I can't find it anywhere! No mention of it on the entire Internet. Yes, I looked! MOTN? HELP?! ('He's all I need'? Maybe?)
~~~~~~
Another odd conversation I had today:
KB-"'Made with real honey'. As opposed to all that fake honey."
Me-"Yea, I hate that fake honey."
KB-"Yea, too sticky."
And...
JK-"Do you have a book on how to not hate people?"
Me-"Um, that would be the bible."
Cool word of the day:
Vicissitudes- I love to say this word.
Hope Fades..
"Hope fades
Into the world of night
Through shadows falling
Out of memory and time"
- Into The West, Annie Lennox-
Taken someplace between the city and home. On a small point and shoot, Canon powershot 360 or something like.
Quote Of The Day:
I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.
Big wheels keep on rolling......
Another in my line of Big rig Pictures. Taken somewhere between here and Ohio, ( as most of my pictures are) on a little point and shoot digital camera, Canon powershot something or other. I need to go ahead and get the Canon EOS SLR Digital Rebel. It's gone down a whole ten dollars. Now it's only 989.99 instead of 999.99. Whoo hoo. Whoops of never ending joy. Wish they would come out with a newer, better one so it would start getting cheaper.
(By the by, if anyone wants to donate to help me afford my camera, I'll not say you nay. :) There's a donate button on the sidebar. )
Quote of the day:
Charlie: Hey, hey, don’t get all Fleinhart on me. It’s just the Physics Department paper airplane contest. Larry: Fl-Fleinhart? Since when did my last name become a predicate adjective? Charlie (fighting a grin): Since your students started using it that way.
