In Her Eyes.......

This is not a picture that I took. I created this picture using as a base a plain "promo shot" picture and adding my own eliments. The small words are the lyrics to the song "In her eyes" by Josh Groban. Many wasted hours of hard work went into this one, so LIKE IT!

Quote of the day:
Math is the real world. It's everywhere. Take a daisy. See how the petals spiral? The number of petals in each row is the sum of the proceding two rows, the fibonacei sequence. It's found in the structure of crystals and the spiral of a nautilus shell. Whats more, the ratio between each number in the sequence to the one before is approximately 1.61803, what the greeks called the 'golden ratio'.It shows up. In the pyramids at Giza and in the parthenon at Athens, and in the dimensions of a post card. And it's based on a number you can find in a flower? Math is nature's language, it's method of comunicating directly with us. So everything is numbers.

Dusk

Nice from car shot. Taken not long ago, not so far away. I just wish that big rig hadn't kept pushing his way into the shot. You know those kind of people. Everyone has one at their family reunions. Horrid Aunt Eustasia that managed to get a part of her in every picture taken. Needless to say I am harboring some bitterness toward that semi truck. But I may forgive it someday. (By the way, I don't have an Aunt Eustasia, and I mean no disrespect to anyone that has one. Or toward my sibling who was almost named that.)

I think this one needs a better name, any suggestions? Maybe I should call it "Trucker's Dusk".

Childhood Dreams

This was taken in early summer out in our woods. The guys had just put up the swing. I love the unspoken messages in this picture. Very thought provoking. Sorry so long between posting,...Life happened. More later. Maybe much later, never can tell.

SunBeams

Baby B or BB was able to find the weirdest sleeping spots in the world. Never had a cat quite that weird before. He is dead too.(Does that mean that sleeping in the sun will kill you too?)You can't be too careful.

Flames

"I'll be your candle on the water!" Motherly person hates candles, but there are lots in her house. What prompted this picture I'll never know but it turned out alright in the end.

Silhouette

If you look real close you can see a small UFO in this picture.(I saw it first!) This was a winter sunset in OK. I actually have one that is right before this that is all pink and purple, then it did a 180 and turned yellow and orange.
