Christmas-not-Time

The Air tonight is very winter-esque. The smell of burning paper and newly turned-on furnaces moves through the cold thickened air with the pattern of waves. The moon is bright and distant in the painfully clear air. Cold and still, the only movement is the from my own breaths. It’s very lovely.

Although the beginning of the fall is my favorite season, I can feel the excitement that begins to trickle in to fill the later weeks leading up to the holiday season. The fullness and growth of this season is nice.
