Choices...

This is just something I copied from LazyPhil's blog. I needed it. Maybe a few other people will too.

I am responsible

At some point it becomes simply a matter of will and personal responsibility.

You have to decide to get out of bed and you have to decide to tend to your responsibilities.

You have to decide to smile when you're miserable.

Stand up straight when you're bearing the weight of the world.

Persevere when you're overwhelmed.

No one said life would be easy.

No one said that you would always feel like getting out of bed.

No one said that you would be able to figure out the mess.

You still have a responsibility to get up and get on with your life.

You cannot avoid the roles that God has given you.

He said that He will not give us more than we can bear with His help.
Do you think that yours is a special circumstance that God hadn't thought of before you?

Get out of bed.

Stop being aimless.

Stand up.

Be as strong as you are.

Smile whether you want to or not.

Be calm.

Stop blaming.

Stop looking for a crutch.

Stop trying to find someone or something that will be "just the thing" to make you good enough, strong enough, or brave enough.

You're you. And you're the only you that God gave the ability to rise above your specific trials and situations.
