My blogging lately tends to be very non-written. But it's due to the crazy full schedule. I'm hoping to gain the upper hand sometime soon, though, and at that point (if it ever comes) the blogging will be me again, I promise.
Meanwhile, I ran across this today while looking up Valentine crafts for February displays.
Looks kinda cool. Someone check it out and let me know. I'll try to pencil you in around...2 am...yep that's when I'm free...

Some days we forget...
"Thankful"
Some days we forget
To look around us
Some days we can't see
The joy that surrounds us
So caught up inside ourselves
We take when we should give.
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be.
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see.
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.
Look beyond ourselves
There's so much sorrow
It's way too late to say
I'll cry tomorrow
Each of us must find our truth
It's so long overdue
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And every day we hope for
What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.
Even with our differences
There is a place we're all connected
Each of us can find each other's light
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though this world needs so much more
There's so much to be thankful for...
You know, sometimes I forget to just look around me. And sometimes I can't see the joy all around me. I get too caught up inside myself and I just forget to give. So my prayer is for what I know I could be. And I hope for the change I still can't see. It's up to me to let Him make the change. And even if I know I could let Him do more, I've so much to be Thankful for!
Even with our differences, there is that place He'll make us all connected, if each of us will only follow His light.
I love this song. The words (with a few changes) might have been poured out of my very soul. I know I might have blogged this at thanksgiving, but lately I've re-realized how much I have been given.
I hope this makes you think of what you are thankful for.
And what you could do for someone else to be thankful for.
And what God could do in your life for you to be thankful for.
God Bless, Ya'll.

Ohhhh....
A Russian couple walks down a street in Moscow when the man feels a drop hit his nose.
"I think it's raining," he says to his wife.
"No, that feels like snow to me, dear," she replies.
Just then, a minor communist party official walks towards them.
"Let's not fight about it," the man says. "Let's ask Comrade Rudolph whether it's officially raining or snowing."
"It's raining, of course" Comrade Rudolph says and walks on.
But the woman insists, "I know that felt like snow."
To which the man quietly says, "Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear."
~~~~~~
It made ME laugh.
A Sacred Moment
She makes me crazy
She makes me smile
Gonna let her have my heart
For a while
She's got me dreaming
'bout what could be
Something in her touch
Brings out the best of me
Could this be love
Too soon to say
Maybe just friends, I don't know, either way
I want this to be
CHORUS:
A sacred moment in her life
Guard her heart and treat her right
There may come a day
When she's someone else's wife
If she's not mine to have and hold
May this time we share be known as
A sacred moment
She keeps me praying
Lead me Lord
Don't wanna say and do things I'll be sorry for
God show the way
To live out Your love
Strengthen her faith, be a man she can trust
I want this to be
CHORUS
Till the true love of my life takes my name
Whoever's hand I get to hold
My prayer will be the same
The famous last words of a fool...
Here Cavagan, I found 'em.
~~~~~~
I told her I wouldn't miss her at all
As she walked to the door
I couldn't care less
If she didn't care anymore
And with tears in my eyes, I lied
I was glad we were through
As she drove away cryin' at the famous last words of a fool
Famous last words of a fool
Famous last words of a fool
You wont break my heart and I don't love you
The famous last words of a fool.
The first night without her would be easy
I kept telling myself
All the while dying
At the thought of her lying somewhere else
There'll be nothing to it
I'll easily find someone new
As my breaking heart echoed the famous last words of a fool
Famous last words of a fool- George Strait
~~~~~~
But that kinda begs a few questions now...
