I before E......Always

Nothin' like tornado sirens and hail at 1:30 in the am! "Just the warning"? What is up with that? In OK when the sirens go off you in da thick of it! You better duck, man! Crazy northerners don't know what to do with a twister.
"Uh, look Joe, see that cloud?" "Yea...pretty." "What'da yous think it is?" "Uh, I donno. Think Moses is around here someplace?" "Uh, yea, that's what it is. You really know your meteorology, huh?" "Well, my preacher said sumpin' bout exitin'. Must be exodology." "Whoa man yous got lotsa big words, huh?" "Yup" "Uh, what's this rushing in our faces? It's like wind, but strong enough to move a leaf." "I heerd bout that. My teacher said the wind comes rushin' at the plain. It's cause you'ns so ugly." "Oh. Sorry."
Disclaimer: Sorry to all you yanks out there. I really do love ya!

Never knew Brian Regan was so good for teaching English comp! That was incredibly ironic to walk into a class room at the exact point of his routine that I had just been listening to. The great thing is, I don't think he actually had a point in playing it. Or I wasn't smart enough to pick up on the object lesson. I think we kind of scared him when T2 and I were mouthing the entire thing, though. It's OK, I scare myself most of the time anyway.

For the record, carrots are one of those things that should never be made into a casserole.

The sun was shining on the sea,
Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright--
And this was odd, because it was Ohio.

Nice weather we're having lately. I think I have said before that I am a fan of the fall season. And if not......I am a fan of the fall season.

Quote of The Day:
"I before E, except after C,
and when sounding like A,
as in neighbour and weigh,
and on weekends and holidays
and all throughout may
and you'll always be wrong
no matter what you say!"

I too never cease to be annoyed at the excessive use of sirens. Grrr.
