I Pledge Allegiance.........

To the flag, Of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands, One Nation, Under God, with Liberty And Justice for all.

The pledge never means as much to you as when you work in immigration and realize what these people are going through to become what we had the privilege to be born as. They have to answer a list of a hundred questions about our country's history and the process of the law. I bet there are not a lot of kids from our public school system who could answer them correctly. I find a severe fault with that. How will our country ever survive if our children do not learn from the mistakes in our past? We are doing ourselves a serious disservice and now I will climb down off my soup box.
