A Luckey Bean

Today, after a long and involved discussion, my coworkers decided that the piece of "pork" to be found in a can of "pork & beans" was either a piece of whale blubber, or what remains after all usable material is extracted from crude oil. (I may or may not have contributed to this conference.)

The past week and a half Megan L. came to visit me. It was quite nice to have at least one of my friends closer than a thousand miles away, for awhile at least. This may be a problem for Oklahoma if every time I make a friend they move VERY far away. Activities happened, although not as many as would have been possible were I not required to be all adult and have a job or some such nonsense. And the lady was convinced to come again in the summer, so all in all a fairly successful venture. But now she is gone. (cue crowd *awww*)
